Welcome to Rising Sun Animal Chiropractic!
Dr. Seth here to welcome you all to the first of many blogs at our site. I want to tell you a little about who I am aside from what you can already learn on the site and what I plan for future blogs.
So, most of what you can see on the site about me is pretty basic. One of the questions I get asked all the time is why did I choose chiropractic medicine? I have always been interested in science, biology and especially animals. I grew up in a house that had no fewer than 4 dogs at a time. For a very long time I wanted to be a veterinarian but when I had my own health issues and a chiropractor was the one to help me through them I knew what I wanted to do. My dreams came true in 2008 when I graduated from chiropractic school and started practicing. Not long after I started my human practice the laws in Minnesota changed so with the proper training I could provide chiropractic care for animals. I immediately enrolled in the Healing Oasis in Stutevant, WI and graduated in February. I have been taking new animal patients ever since and its going great.
Chiropractic is a very powerful form of health care and preventative medicine. When you see how fast both people and animals respond with chiropractic care it makes you wish the whole world saw a chiropractor.
I will be updating this website with both animal and human cases, information regarding diet, nutrition and other interesting articles that I come across and a page of upcoming events that either I am attending or is just a good outing in our area. I will be doing weekly blog updates and I look forward to your input. Our next blog will be a discussion about the role Omega 3 fats play in aggressive behavior in dogs.
I want this website to be community of people that share ideas and experiences with their animals and their own health so we can help others.
Have a great day!
